We are running Windows 2000 server on our new server that we purchased about a few weeks ago. While trying to fix some permission problems that we have been having with groups in our domain in a specific folder, I accidentally removed the administrator group on our machine from the permissions of the folder. This means that I cannot access security options for this particualr folder, I cannot continue to diagnose the problem until I can get my rights back. Any idea how to put it back in the permissions?

Hi, you have to take ownership of the folder first (in Security tab, Advanced, Owner). You need administrative privileges. Then add the administrators group.
