I am working with an ActiveX control for a piece of software that is running on an intranet. However the users on the network are all Restricted Users and it will not allow them to access, or download the ActiveX control. I need to find a way to do this. It appears that adding my control as an Administrator Approved Control to the Group Policies might work, but I cannot find a way to add one.
I did find that if I proved all users full access to the registry key hkeyLocalMachine-Software-Microsoft-Code Store Database-Distribution Units that it would work. But I have to believe there is a better or approved way of doing this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If this is the wrong forum for this please let me know and I will redirect.
