A client has a Partner ACS R6.0. AT&T is bringing in fiber to their building. AT&T will not break the dial tone down to Analog only T1. I have never installed a T1 module in a system. Does it replace the processor? Where can I find documentation to convert to T1? If programming is required can I program from either Ext 10 or 11, using an 18D telephone?

Thank you,

Run away. Fast.

Odd ball parameters on the T1, customers don't like the way it works, programming MUST be done through the GUI, which on an R6 requires a modem connection, which is tenuous at best. If it were R7 or R8 you could use the serial port for programming, and at least know you'd be able to administer it.
