Hey,
We've been contemplating a switch to Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking with our HiPath 3350 and HG1500. We trialed this out, and got the origination (calls from the network to Hipath) working, but encountered a problem with the termination (calls from Hipath to the network). Our old trunking provider didn't require adding a + sign before numbers dialed, so the number was in the format of sip:358441234567@domain.
Twilio, on the other hand, requires the numbers to be E.164 compliant and thus requires having a + sign before the number, in the format of sip:+358441234567@domain.
So, my question is, what do I have to make the HiPath/HG1500 add the + sign before the number? Adding it manually is not an option as per my understanding, you cannot enter the + sign on the OpenStage 40T phones we're currently using.
Thanks in advance,
Milo
