I am trying to add a second link between my CTI server and MAPD. Currently I have a station in the Avaya switch using port 01 of the MAPD which is for my first CTI link. Now I am looking to create a second link, so I went ahead and added a second station that will use port 02 of the MAPD board. Also, the MAPD and the CTI server are on their own network.
Now, while logged into the MAPD under TCP/IP admin. - local host table, I can currently see my the IP address of the CTI server and its name. Under dlg administration I can again see the CTI server IP using port 1 and link 1. Now I want to add the second link. There is only one network connection available between the MAPD and the CTI server, so do I just use the same IP address for the second link and if so how does this relate to the CVCT server software, I understand in the PBX driver I will have to assign the link and if so do I just use the same ip address as link 1 as well?
I realize this is a very unorganized question, so any guidance would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
