NT 4.0 Term Serv edition.
Go to add local printer and options are to add either connected to:
My Computer(local printer) or
Network printer server.
The My computer option is grayed out for some reason. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
BTW, logged in as Administrator and can add network printer fine.

For adding printer on local computer you need to login as a administrator. Only Administrator can Add or REmove local printres. Aslam

You have to be logged on to the local computer as administrator to add a local printer. I have experienced computers that had two domains available. One being the network one and the other being the computer itself. When you log on as administrator see if you can log on to the local computer profile (not the network) computer and try adding the printer. The alternative I suppose is to set up the local printer as a network one and access it that way. Live Long and Prosper

newfile yo hit it on the head!!!!!
We're logged in as Admin, but it was admin of the domain not admin of the local machine. You saved me a reinstall!
Thanks.

Spoke too soon. We went ahead and reinstalled NT to fix the problem. We're logging in the same as before and can now add a local printer. Strange problem that we never found a solution to, except for reinstalling. Thanks anyways guys!
