Adding a printer from an XP PC

When I add a printer from an XP Pro PC to another, I can see the printer fine, the printer is attached and shared from an XP PC, but when I try to add the printer to a windows 2000 Pro PC I cannot see the printer on the network, does anyone know why?

you'll need to check the permissions on the share if it's giving you full control if not you won't be able to do anything until you add that 2000 pc on the list.
