Adding a prefix 1

I know how to add a missing area code with ld 90 thanks to this forum. This time I need to add missing prefix. Is is the same process, but with a different TRAN command?

Probably the same but instead of Type being NPA use NXX.

That got rid of the fast busy when I dialed that number, but it's not ringing. Should I enter anything after such as the RLI number? I was using 1 as the RLI number.

is 1 the RLI of your other NXXs?, no you should not need to do anything else.

Yes. I used RLI 1 when adding a missing area code.

Are you adding an area code (NPA)

or are you adding an exchange (NXX)

extremely good chance your RLI for Long Distance (NPA)

will not be the same as your RLI for Local calls (NXX)

1614 - NPA
614 - NXX

NPA-NXX-XXXX

I'm adding an exchange. Is there a way to look up RLI numbers?

NXX (working prefix)

It should print what you want your new one to look like.
