Adding a phone to an answer group

I am trying to add another phone to the group of phones that ring whenever a call comes in, but I can't seem to find that particular setting. Any help would be appreciated.

There are several different ways to make a phone ring with incoming calls.

Do you have voicemail, and is that answering before any of the phones ring?

If not, it's probably easiest just to assign the lines to appear and ring at that extension: Terminals&Sets/Line Access/Line Assignment- next until you get to the line you want to assingn, then CHG to appear and ring.

You can also put the incoming lines in a hunt group and add all phones you want to ring to it as members. That way you can have voice mail on the extensions and incoming calls will continue to ring without going to an individual phone's mailbox.

Murphysmom- Hunt groups are best if you've got 'em, but you can use answer dn's, or pickup groups for older systems.
