Hello folks. I have a hunt group which has 3 members - 4446 , 4451 & 4516. It is a round robin type. It has PLDN 6000. I have created a new phantom DN (4499) with a DCFW of 9+external number. I wish to add the phantom DN to the hunt group but keep getting "SCH8820 - the DN is not valid for the GHT list". I can dial 4499 and get thru successfully to the DCFW number. Am I missing something? Surely I can add a phantom to hunt group. Incidently I went back into the 4499 DN in the TM3 and changed CLs to SFA and tried to apply the change but keep getting SCH3719. Shoot me if I am being silly.

Per the docs it looks like you need to add FNA value.

thanks for replying. Is your response relating to the SCH3719 part of my comment. If so I have discovered this also. However, if it relates to the first part (which I am mostly interested in) then I am wondering what does the FNA value mean or even do when i have a DCFW value in the phantom DN. Thank you for reading.

I do not see phantom allowed/ but do not see it specifically denied. However, ACD is allowed, as well as, ACOD + number. You could NCFW an ACD or ACOD of route and number, and not use a phantom.

I'm getting the same problem, I'm trying to add a phantom to a hunt group and get Sch8820 - "The DN entered is not valid for a group hunt list". Trying to add it as looking at using phantom personal DN in CC6for our agents so they can be called at there desks regardless of where they are sitting.

build a 500, use rcfw to forward it to the phantom.. add the 500 to the hunt group

Nice idea, unfortunately we have about 150 agents that we wanted to set up phantoms for, and we don't have 150 free TN's that we could set up. Otherwise I wouldn't need to use the phantoms I could just create real DN's on real TN's and use those, as a personal DN works with a real extension as well as a phantom one.
As an update, after speaking to Nortel, you can't put phantoms in a hunt group, the reason given is that a phantom must always have some form of redirect on it either CFW or DCFW and any phone with these set in a hunt group is ignored by the hunt group.
