I have a user who spilled coffee on her phone. She unplugged the phone to clean it and when she plugged it back in, the phone does not work. The LCD screen just flashes the triangle symbol. I tried relocating the phone to a different port but get the same result.

I have several phones that are no longer in use. How do I transfer her DN to a new phone?

Thanks in advance.

first take apart phone and clean with some isoprople then let dry...if autoset is off the just plug in new set and swap buttons...

I would suggest that you use electronic cleaner rather than isophropol alchohol since alchohol leaves a residue on what it cleans and I have had problems with switch contacts from this in the past.

If the phone survived, once it is cleaned and dry it should work. If not, you can put any phone you want into her jack. Keep in mind that as long as the phone is the same type, you will not need to do any programming. If it is not, you will have to reprogram the features.

Thanks for the responses. Cleaning the phone worked.
