Adding a new range to the one-X attendant?

So we've just added an entire new range of numbers. Now the attendant asked if it's possible to add this new range on her attendant console. I've been looking around and found that you can automatically sync the one-x attendant with the server. I've noticed though that at the moment, in the attendant console, the entire range is in there, regardless of if the number exists or not. So I was wondering if it's possible to manually add the range 6700-6799 and 6800-6899 tabs to her console?

Theres something in the programming of the application where you set the keyblock extensions. It's a pain... open the app, don't log in and I think you can login as "avaya" or "operator" and the default is 000000 and there's a section where you can configure the GUI for the attendant. Part of that would be adding that tab for the 6700's.

By the app you mean the "configuration tools"? Or the "one-x attendant"? Anyway, I looked in both, but I can't really seem to locate anything related to the GUI...

Make sure you log in as Avaya to the one x attendant , this means you will have correct privelages.(not the config tool the actual attendant), do the following

Click on edit (top right) , select edit work profiles , select the profile name for your attendant.

The work profile GUI will open , then select the BLF icon, the yellow square with the face and a line through it.

That will then bring up the table where you can enter extension ranges.Make your changes then select the save icon and exit , now when you log in with the work profile you have edited , you will have the new range.

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.

First I tried AvayaTier3's solution, which looked promising at first. I entered the command, saw 3 attendants with the ranges displayed as it was on our attendants console. After inputting the new ranges and saving, I went to check with our attendant, but the new ranges were nowhere to be seen, even after rebooting.

Then I tried Montyzummer's solution. I went to our attendent and asked to see her one-x console. Apparently they just login with the Avaya login. So when I clicked "edit" and then went to "edit profiles" it was just grayed out, with no option to do anything in the edit menu really...

After changes are made in the CM software for the attendant buttons, you may want to shut down the one-X attendant then have them each login again. This may pick up the changes.

Making changes on a windows application without having supporting buttons for the attendants in CM would be a problem.

You cannot make changes to the one-X Attendant if it is not in Position Busy.

After you put in the Avaya login with six 0’s. Notice your work profile before pressing OK. It most likely says “one-x Attendant.”

Once in the application make sure you are in Position Busy.
At the top select Edit, then Work Profiles then Edit.
Highlight the work profile you logged in. As I said, it is most likely on e-x Attendant. Press Select

Now do Edit, Busy Display. Add your new 100’s block using the format of the others you already see listed.
Press OK.
Under Work profile at the top, press Save
Press OK at the pop up saying that the change will take affect after you log out and back in.
Select Work profile again and Exit.
