Adding a local User acc to a local group remotely

Is it possible to add a local user account to the Local Administrators group without having to physically connect to each machine. We have just recently rolled out XP on 300+ and we did not include the sms local account in the local admins group. Any help would be great.

You could use something like psexec (part of pstools freeware from

http://www.sysinternals.com)

with net localgroup? Create a batchfile which will run same command on each machine in turn?

Or mmc - but have to do each individually.

Thanks for that. I have managed to do this using the net localgroup command with the runas command.
