Adding a Fiber Module to an MICS 1

I've found the best way to add a fiber module to an MICS..(assuming a fiber expansion card is already installed) is to 1st go to maintenance and disable the port that the fiber module will be plugged into. You can then add the module (fiber and amphenol cables 1st) then the power and then go back and enable the port. I find it's best to back all the way out of programming in between disabling and enabling the ports. Hope this is helpful!
 
I forgot to mention that you could do that if changing module type.

Also we have a FAQ forum where things like this would be submitted....but you need to be sure of what your stating.
