Hi,

Is there a way to add a custom header to a cross tab report?

I have:

column 1 column 2 column 3
row 1
row 2
row 3

What I would like to do is put a header name on top of row 1.I put a box object and typed in a name. -- This works fine for page 1, but for page 2 onwards the custom object box does not repeat.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks
Jk

The new PH b (which contains the parameter display)--> is what I don't want to see when the cross tab pages print.

But I see them now.

What do I do to suppress PH b when cross tab pages print?

(unless your instructions already said that and i have misinterpreted it).

Thanks for your patience,
Regards,
Jk

What happens when you go into the section expert->new page header_b->suppress->x+2 and enter:

whileprintingrecords;
booleanvar flag;
flag = true;//note no colon

...the same as you did for your original PH_b (now PH_c)?

When i used the suppress->x+2 for PH b

It works. Exactly the way I wanted it.

The last thing that's left is:
-----how to add a custom header to a cross tab report?

Both you and ianoctdec had made some suggestions. I would like to try each of them out and if it's ok with you reply back here.:)

THANKS

Please reply in your original thread on that topic. Go up to the left hand corner->my thread and click on that to find it.

Oops, I see this IS the original thread on that topic, and that this thread went off-topic. So do reply here.

If i do what "ianoctdec" suggested i put the object in new PH f, GH 1 is right below it. I 'underlayed' PH f.

This works as far as cross tab is concerned, which is what i want.

In addition, this object is * also showing up in the details section of all other pages.

Please advise
Regards,
jk
