The limit is 8 coverage buttons. However, this extension (727)cannot provide primary coverage to ext 742 - because 742 is already a primary coverer for it (727) - so you have would have a circular coverage situation.

What is the difference between primary coverage up top and Primary coverage on a button.

The primary coverage up top - lists the other extensions that have a cover button for this extension (727). The bottom portion shows the actual programmed buttons on this extension (727) which shows 2 Primary Immediate Ring Cover Buttons and 3 Primary Delayed Ring Cover buttons. Since 727 is covered by 742 - the system will not let 727 also cover 742 - that would be circular logic.

Actually, the question is "How many other extensions have Primary or Secondary Coverage for Ext. 742?" I'll bet there are already 8.

You certainly can have 2 extensions cover each other. When calling one another, the Coverage buttons are inactive, but when some OTHER extension calls one, the other's Coverage button will ring.

TTT Is right on with BOTH POSTS.

One would wonder from whence iris.... cometh.

It most certainly would not be trying to help folks on this forum.

If you can't say anything nice......

(OH WAIT, that might apply to this grumpy old man as well....)

whence comes from 2 seats away from hereth bobbyC, just busting balls.
