Adding a Card

Hi, I'm adding an alalog line card to my Nortel Option 11c. I've got it installed in slot 38. When I stat the card in LD 32, it shows unequiped. When I try to enlc the card, it says "no units defined".

What step am I missing? Thanks!

Program a set on a TN, then card will then show.

Yes I will try that. That leads me to another question. How do I get the new card to show up in OTM?

Best thing you can do program one TN. Then go into the OTM and update the system data then retrieve all TN's again.

There is a method to adding the hardware in OTM, but it's dependant on version, and from memory, I couldn't walk you through it. Maybe someone else could though...

in OTM you will need to look at hardware in the system inventory and add/ins a new card. it should appear after that.
