Adding a 0x16 Station Module and Station won't sync 2

Hello, I have a MICS with 2 fiber expansion cards. Ports 13 and 14 are open. I have attached a 0x16 station module in both ports (2 modules) and neither will hand out an extension to a phone. In ports status I have all of the ports (ie 1301 to 1316 and 1401 to 1416) but they all say "none". I have tried punching down to different ports and I have tried a 7310 and a 7316 with no luck. What could be wrong?

It has to be 7.0 or 7.1 sw to see 13 and 14.

Previously on lower releases they were reserved for Companions.

I looked up the version which is an mj. That cross references to a MICS 4.0 CDNXC. What does it take to upgrade to 7.0 or 7.1? Is there another option to get additional sets? Thanks for your help.

You will need to use the upgrade tool to keep programming.
For 4.0 it will require 2 tools.

Look for the Norstar 7.1 Installer Guide online and then search for Upgrade on the PDF, it will expalin how and what is required.

In a nut shell power down, install tool (or 4.1XC software)
Once complete power down, install second tool (or 6.1XC software)
Once complete power down and install 7.1XC.

CP 150 2.0

Is that what you needed to know?

Yes...if going to 7.1 then upgrade CP to 3.1
