We recently added a 2nd PRI to our system, and are having a problem. (previously we had a PRI and a long distance T1) The provider did not bond the two PRI's together, so when our main PRI filled up, some callers were getting the 'all circuits are busy now' message from the provider. The provider is going to make the change to bind the two PRI's together, but question is, do I need to change any configuration on the PBX so that inbound calls roll over to the second PRI/trunk group when the first is full?

Inbound calls are controlled by your provider, not the switch.

You can add them to the same Trunk Group which makes it easier to watch calls and look at overall volume. But like said previously the rollover is controlled by the provider.

I figured it should be, just wanted to make sure there wasnt anything I needed to do.

so if i were to add them to the same trunk group, i would need to just move the entries from the second trunk group to the first (appending to the end of the members currently there?)
