How do i assign a line so that users can use that line to make outgoing calls into a BLANK button on a M7310 phone?
I moved some lines around but i need to add a couple more...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Depending on your software version, you have to go to the extension's line access and add the extra line to it. Now of corse you must remember that the line you are adding must at least appear on the set, then using feat*81 you can put the line on any blank button.

The line does not exist on any button in that phone... it exists in other phones...

???

Hope this make sense...

you have to go into line access for that Ext. and assign it to Ring & Appear on that Ext.

go to Terminal & Set enter the extension number go to line access then to line assignment enter line number and change it to Ring and appear. It is allittle different on different Software Version but they are almost the same
Hope it helps

the only way is:

terminal&sets, enter
show set: Dn, enter
line access, enter
line assigmnet:
The lines that you want in the DN.

After that, you can Move the line with feature *81 until the buttons that you want.
