Add User Wizard Freezes

I have win2k3 sbs running and working properly with one glitch. When I add a new user, using the wizard, it (the wizard) freezes while applying GPOs. I had a gpo that I thought I deleted a while ago. Now all of the sudden it freezes.
Any suggestions?

If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

There was a couple of things that I did. The first was to search through the GPOs to see if it was really deleted or if there was something wrong with it. The second (the solution, I believe) was to reboot. After I deleted the GPO I didn't reboot, so the wizard was trying to apply a setting that wasn't there. That is my thought anyway.
