I wanted to add another storage group and mailbox database to a different drive. Right now everything is installed on my E drive. I would like to start adding users to a new storage group on a F drive but when i create one it goes by default to the E drive and the browse button is grayed out- any suggestions. thanks

Is this part of a CCR cluster? If so, both nodes of the cluster need to have the same drive letter available to add a storage group.

What happens if you try to use Exchange Management Shell to create it?

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

it's not part of cluster, Just a vm of Exchange with the database on local storage. I want to move the db to a shared storage not everyone and not all at once.
