Add specific Parameters?

Hi

I have written a report I now want to give options on the data returned. I would like the report to prompt me for two things a date time field and a string field giving the user a list of options in a dropdown list to pick from, the data returned must contain these two options in order for the report to work. Any ideas how I can do this?

What I have done is Insert Parameter and then specified Start Date and End Date based on a field (Set Default Options) and then Go to Select Expert. Choose type of selection (between) and then in the drop down choose ?Start Date and ?End Date. This way when I try to run the report I get a Parameter record selection criteria. Let me know if you need more specific. I am a new user and it took quite a while to figure this out.
