Add/Remove Programs

I encountered a major crash that corrupted the registry in Windows 2000. Well after finding a solution and restoring the OS and the registry without a total reformat, I have it up and running again. I had to reinstall some software to build the registry back up. But the problem I am having is, in the control panel the "add/remove programs" does not work. Everthing else in the windows control panel works fine. Is there a way to fix this little problem without a total wipe out and reinstall everthing.

Do you receive any error message at all? This KB article may may have information on how to verify the services and registry keys needed for Add-Remove to function:

The fix was acutually simple. Reinstall internet explorer and it took care of the fix. Found an article on microsoft's site about it.
