Add/remove programs in the control panel 1

I was just wondering if anyone is having the same problem as me with your add/remove programs button from the control panel not working. If you are, please email how you fixed it.

Is it on a server or client ?
connected to domain?
it might be group policy

i think u r using IE 5.5 with the win2k
update to IE 6.

The solution provided by Nayeen was correct. I was encountering the same problem. I upgraded from IE 5.0 to 6.0 and the issue was resolved.
