Hi.

I am trying to check if an 855 number exists in a cs1000 system. (The user says they can't dial 855 numbers, while they can dial 800,866, etc.)

I have been going through the LD 90, but can't find anything.

Where would I find this?

Regards

Tool free are usually built as SPN's. Print your SPN 1800 in LD 90 and then add 1855 and send it to the same RLI

1800 looks like this

So how are they dialing this #. Are they dialing 9+1855+xxx+xxxx ??? Print a DNB on 9 and see what it is. Maybe they aren't using BARS

I don't think they are using BARS.... But this is what / where the "experts" told me to look, so i did.

They can dial 1800 / 1866 numbers ok, when they press 9, enter the number the want.
With the 9 + 1855, after this, they get "fast beeping" which I think means re-order.

What am I looking for in the RDB? When I do a LD 21, prt rdb, i get alot of stuff, but nothing that says 1-800... or 1-855..

Regards

What you need to do as I suggested is go into ld 20 and do a dnb on 9 and see what 9 is. I believe you have a carrier issue and not a pBX issue. I think 9 is a route access code.

If 9 is in fact the ACOD to a route then print out the route and post it here. They could be blocking 1855 in a Flexible Code Restriction table in LD 49.

KCFLHRC you were right.

Reading through the manual, at one point it said for newer system, go to load 49 and there it was.

Thanks for all your help guys. KCFLHRC, you get a star! (smile).
