Hi,

I configured a AD structure in a small network.
I would like that all users from a OU would have certain specific links on their desktops from installed applications on the local machines.
What's the group policy to do that?

Thanks in advance.

You could call a .vbs file that would put the shortcuts on the desktop, and then assign the GPO to groups/OUs, etc

There are plenty of smart people in the vbscript forum that can assist with creating the shortcuts.

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

If you sit it up to pull there desktop from the server, you can use GP to control there desktop. Check out folder redirection in the MMC. We use it for our public profiles and for our staff profiles, that are used by multiple users.

Hope this helps,
DJ

I'm trying the check this way that ison67 told and seems to be a good way.
