Hi !

I dont know how to add inodes to my JFS . Now, the parameter of nbpi is 4096.

Tks !

You can't change the inodes of a JFS? You have to create a new JFS!

Regards,
Khalid

I was thinking of that.
Where can I found details to know how many inodes I can have when I create a JFS ?

Tks

For example:

smitty fs --> Add / Change / Show / Delete File Systems --> Journaled File System --> Add a Journaled File System --> Add a Standard Journaled File System --> Choose the vg --> You will find a field called "Number of bytes per inode" --> press F4 to display the possibilities!

Regards,
Khalid
