Add a telnet user name in Cisco IOS Catalyst 2960

Does anyone know how to add a user name for the telnet password in the Cisco IOS? I've tried the ? help and Google searches but cannot find any help.

Thanks Vipergg. I failed to mention in my post that I had consulted the manual, but could not make sense of the syntax. By chance, would you have an example of the syntax?

Yes I believe you are correct about AA new model and also remember to do your enable secret password.
