I´ve got a Option 61 system and my users want to make calls from recived calls list without having to type the digits again. Is there a easy way to make that happen?
I am not certain this is what you are looking for, but the 3900 series phones have a call log/directory that can do this is some way for you.
You can set the log to only log unanswered calls, then the users can dial from that list. One point is if you are using an Access code (AC1) for outbound calls, you have to edit the log entry, add the AC1, then dial out.
This is almost as much work as just dialing the number.
We´re using 2616 sets. When the phone recives a call and it´s not answered it shows up like this in the caller directory: 0704850746, the normal procedure to make a callback would be to access the callers list, choose the number to be redialed and from there press the green redial button with the "enter" symbol on it. When I do that the set tries to make the call but fails because the phonenumber is missing the leading zeros needed for outbound calls.
If it is a 2616 there is no caller list. When you view the numbers in the list at the bottom of the display one should read EDIT. Select the EDIT key then using the arrow keys move the cursor to the very first number. enter your required digit(s) to access outbound and press done then dial.
