My CD-Writer(HP 7200e)was working perfectly, suddenly it has
stopped recognizing RW CD's on which I have already
written to. I can only create new CD's. Also I have
tried installing Adaptec Easy CD Creator 3.5c. It didn't work.

Did you uninstall any CD burning software before installing Easy CD? They don't play well together.

I had initially installed Adaptec Easy CD Creator ver. 3.01.
I then downloaded a patch for 3.5c and upgraded the software. Since this did not solve the problem, I again
uninstalled 3.5c and reinstalled 3.01. Still, the problem exists.

If XP is your OS, you must disable native burning capability.
What is your OS?

Thank you for the suggession.

The configuration of the PC is OS(Win-95),Pentium-Pro(r),
128MB RAM. Also, I noticed the problem started after upgraded the Easy CD Creator software from 3.01 to 3.5. I thought the problem would be solved if I uninstall 3.5 and then install back 3.01 but it didn't.
