I have an AD64 setup in my system. When a user calls another user and is sent to their mailbox the user can press 0 and it will send them to the opening message of the main opening box. In this main opening box they have the option to hit 1 to 9 to send them to several different extensions or 0 for the operator or hold for the operator. However, when the user hits a key the system doesnt recognize the key press most of the time. It will then repeat the menu and very seldomly it will actually work. I am not sure whats causing this to act weird so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!!

Keep in mind the one key dials point to an ID code. Then another box with that ID code does the actual transfer. It sounds like the number after the one key dosen't have a box to go to.

I am brand new to the AD64 system so i am just becoming familiar with it.

From what i can see when i go into the ad64 system manager and then goto the "one key dial" tab every option from 0 to 9 is assigned to a box to goto. All of those boxes are created as well. When i call sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt... this system was implemented by an NEC tech. could they have missed something? what should i look for? all the setup for it should be done through this adminisitration console correct?

Yes use the console. Check the mail boxes to be sure transfer is yes and X is the extension

What kind of PBX and are the ports analog or digital?

it is a imx 2400 and we have 20 analog ports going to the voicemail system.

If you call the vmail and monitor the port with your butt set, see if you hear the touch tones going through.
