Ad-Aware update problem

I usually do a sys maintenance weekly & check on updates for a few free AntiSpyware apps & run after updating. Today, Ad-Aware informed me there were updates available but it froze after downloading only 5%. Thought it was just a temp glitch in my OS (XP SP2) but tried updating it later on my wife's computer (still running 98SE but I'm trying to get her familiar to XP so I can pass this one on to her & get a new Vista system ... after they get all the glitches out, that is) with the same results. Is Lavasoft trying to force everyone to upgrade to their new 2007 version? Windows 98SE doesn't support many apps so thia may be my leverage.

SirBlack, I ran AdAware update last night on the old AdAware PE, and it failed. So I thought I'd jump ship and installed the new AdAware2007, and when I ran the updates on that, they also failed. I don't know if there is a problem with some of the mirror sites.

What is your location?
