They want the agents to be able to confirm what code they just entered. Some agents are mis-dialing the activity code so they want to be able to have the agents verify what code was just entered.
With Contact Center 6, Agent Desktop (part of the Multimedia features), they actually enter activity codes through their desktop display and will be able to see what they enter visually. On just a regular 3905, I don't know of a way that is possible.
As a workaround you could use activity codes that are radically different from each other so that a mistype of one code is unlikely to correspond to another code.
On the report for the activity codes what does it mean when you one sections is labelled "Skillset_default_activity_code-0" and another is "skillset_default_activity_code-00"
is the first one when a agent hasnt put a code in and the second when a incorrect code has been entered??
We have Skillsets displayed when the call arrives... ie: "Billing" or "Repair" along with the CDN#.
I want to reuse an old CDN ... I already changed the CDN name in LD95... my LD49 list shows properly... I changed the Skillset name in Sympsoium (SCCS 4.2) and the CDN name there as well... BUT THE SKILLSET STILL SHOWS THE OLD NAME UPON CALL PRESENTATION...
You could program a DISPLAY key on the phone. Once an agent has entered in a code they could press DISPLAY then ActCode and the phone will display what code they have entered. Not the best way to do it, but it works.
