I am trying to view Crystal Reports on the web using the ActiveXPluginViewer for Netscape.
I am using Crystal 8.5, Windows 2000, IIS 4.0
The report appears correctly, but then just hangs. It seems to take at least 30 minutes to completely load. This is the case when tested on Netscape 6.2 or Netscape 7.0.

Has anyone else had this problem and had any success resolving?

If I'm in the wrong forum I apologize.

Thank you for your help,
Dawn

Thanks for your quick response.
Would you mind telling me whether you use the JavaPluginViewer or the SmartViewerJava that Crystal Reports provide. I have tried both and get the same response "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.SeagateSoftware.img.ReportViewer.ReportViewer".

Thanks again,
Dawn

I now have a different problem. It seems like my browser only wants to download Java Plugin JRE 1.4.

Is this because I'm on Windows 2000? Can I install JDK 1.3.2 on my system?

Thanks again,
dawn
