ActiveX will not load..?

Hi all,

I have tried a very simple OCX with just a button on and that failed.

I have deployed the msvbvm60.dll on c:\windows\system on a test system(another PC).

When I run the html-page from the development PC it works alright. But on other PCs without VB6 installed nothing happens. It's just a symbol representing the OCX nothing else is displayed. No errormessages.

What is wrong?

Hi all again,

I have figured out by myself that the problem is that the OCX will not download at all to the client.

How can I get the OCX to download? Is this a security issue?

Sorry, Not a Solution.

I am in the same situation! %-(

I have a slider control - works on dev m/c
progress control - doesn't work on dev m/c

both these controls are in comctl32.ocx v5 (sp2).

I have access to the server, and installed and registered
the control there manually, and I still just get a little
box on the server, instead of the control.

Help anyone?
