ActiveSync with Public Folder

Is it possible to synchonise contacts on a mobile device with contacts held in a Public folder on exchange 2003?

Active Sync has been designed for Inbox, Contacts and Calender. Sorry no Public Folders.

There are however some 3rd party utilities that can add the functionality.

Remember when using 3rd Party add on's, you can leave yourself in a awkward position when trying to get support from MS if required, in the future.
