Active the SMDR on NEC Elite IPK 3

I am trying to gather info on NEC Elite IPK system. I am using Tapit EX and connecting DB9 Com1 to KSU Com2 and I am not getting data. I used Hypterm to connect and I am not getting raw data.
What commands can I use to activate the SMDR in the IPK?

Look at memory block 1-5-13. Set it for LK3 = yes, SMDR on.

Do you have a MIFM (provides output to the DB connector on the side of the cabinet) or SPE card (provides output via RJ45 on the card) in the AP slot? If you don't have either one of these, your not going to get any SMDR even if you do all of the system programming.

I just checked the KSU and found nothing in the AP Slot so i guess that leaves me with no SMDR data to gather on this PBX. Thanks for the post !!

The card does not have to be in the AP slot. Check the other slots for the MIFM or SPE card.

I spoke with the vendor who setup the IPK and it does not have a MIFM or SPE card. Also, The owner does not want to buy the MIFM Card for $600.00.
