Hello!
I new to server.I have some problem.
I Create a new domain tree in Active Directory from DCPROMO
Now i try to create a child domain in Active Directory.
When i open dcpromo "This server is the last domain controller in the domain check box"
My question is how to add new child domain?

Thank you.
I know how to create child domain.
But is show me it Global domain and "This server is the last domain controller in the domain"
And i cannot create nothing. IT'S PROMPT ME ONLY DELETE EXISTING DOMAIN .

Because one DC can store only one domain. You should have separate DC for child domain.

Didn't sound like you knew how to create a child domain in your original question.

Anyway as karlisi said, you need to run dcpromo on another server to create a new child domain..

Actually if you were trying to have one server be a DC in two domains (parent and child), then you don't know how to create a child domain.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

There are no more PDC's! There are DC's with FSMO roles!
