Active Directory Synchronisation issue with WSS 3.0

Does anybody know how to synchronise WSS 3.0 with Active Directory so it replicates daily? When installing my intranet it replicated with Active Directory fine. Thereafter if I make a change in Active directory, that change is not reflected in SharePoint.

Any help would be appreciated, I have searched the internet for a solution and couldn’t find anything about this specific issue.

SharePoint is installed on a MS Windows 2003 server FYI.

Hello,

WSS does not support AD sync out-of-the-box so you need a third-party solution or to write your own. Bamboo has a good solution for this, but it is not free, and as advertising is forbidden I'll ask you to google 'bamboo solutions ad sync' instead.

Right, by default Sharepoint does not provide such feature. If you want Sync it, you'd better use third party tools. There are couple of such tools like Sharepoint AD Sync from

http://www.sharepointboost.com

and similar tool from

http://www.bamboosolutions.com
