Active directory question ntds

I am not sure where to post this question, so please forgive if its in the wrong place.

I am trying to figure out why our win 2000 pcs display Entire Directory (to view Active directory Shares..etc) and our Win XP machines do not. How do I get the directory to show up for everyone?
