We're trying to install Active Directory on a fresh installation of Windows2000 Server but after the installation process runs only a few seconds, it hangs the system completely. Any ideas? Don

Install the server without installing active directory and then use DCPromo afterwards. Has worked for me in the past.

DCPromo brings up the same set of pages that I was already using and it still hangs. Sometimes removing TCI/IP and some of the other networking, then reinstalling them will get past the problem but this doesn't work either so I'm open to more ideas! Don
