If I use a firstname.lastname as the user's NT account. Will that give me problems with how AD handles it later? I am talking about the ".". Thanks!

There should be no problem using the firstname.lastname syntax. AD should handle this without problems. We use the same naming syntax at the company I work for :)

thanks brain. just that the pesky mac os x we have here too doesn't like it! oh well!! :)
