I always get DNS error msg: Your DNS proxy agent cannot bind to address 192.168.0.1 (my NIC with internet sharing). What is causing the error msg?

accuransx,
I'm guessing you have an existing DNS or DHCP service this machine is using - together with ICS ?

If you have this is your problem ICS has it's own internal DNS and DHCP services. This message probably refers to the DNS on ICS trying to bind to the same port as an existing DNS service.

You could disable DNS and DHCP and let ICS handle this side
but unfortunately this will affect Active directory - so it's trade off time ICS or AD.

Hope this gives you a clue.

Cheers

already a DNS service bound to the same port...

You cound disable ICS and run NAT. Its much more robust and you can run it w/DNS and DHCP w/no problems.
