I replaced a desktop client with a new computer. Upon installing MAS 200 (non-SQL version) via the Workstation setup folder over the network, I was able to run mas 200 while logged on as a domain Administrator. I did notice that domain users who logged on to the new PC received the following error when loging on to Mas 200:

Cannot open activation key file
No valid activation found

Is this a networking issue or a Mas 200 activation key issue?

Is there a chance that you had the registery locked when you installed? Maybe spybot or something preventing your from adding the key to the registery?

If you upgraded to Windows XP the security settings on the {mas200 install Directory}\home\lib\keys folder (on the local machine) needs to be reset to allow access for the mas 200 users. This fixed the same problem for me.
