Need to re install windows xp but don't have 25 digit code where do I go to get the # ? This was registered on line.

You look a the documentation that came with the Operating System you purchased or you look at the side/back of the case for the sticker that the OEM builder put there when you purchased the pc.

there are several free programs out there that will show you your current key number, and microsoft has information on there site, search for product activation key code.

if the pc was bought with xp already installed then try looking on the case for the serial no! Or alterativly it might have the code on a sif file in the windows programme
