I have a User that wants to be able to activate an alternate Greeting/AA remotely utilizing VMPro. He wants this in case employees are unable to make it in because of weather conditions. Can this be done and if so what action(s) are needed?

You could set a user variable for this.

How do your calls go through VM Pro at the moment???

Yeah, this is a good plan.
Route your ICR through a user variable test.
True goes to a transfer option just doing what your system does now.
False goes to a AA/Leave mail action or whatever the hell you want.

You would then need some way of activating this.
I would suggest another ICR going into a menu option which sets the variable to on and 2 sets the variable to off.

Job done.

to activate send to a menu (as above) but PIN code it so only certain people can set it.

We also play the weather message before users mailboxes so that the callers to DIDs understand that they may not get a call back.

Its in the default leave mail option.
