Activate I-RAD 1

Trying to activate I-RAD for new CICS, Standard 6.1 w/IRAD and AA. Install guide tells to call Nortel IVR to get passcodes to activate I-RAD, using Express Code 1599. When entering the Exp Code, get message that the code entered is invalid. Anyone else have thoughts on proper code for Nortel IVR?

you can no longer get keycodes over the phone. Must be done on the net..

And the web address for that would be? I am asking since I have not seen that documented anywhere.

it is in the partner area - only authorized partners have access to it.

get your seller to generate it for you

I dont know that the web address would work for you.
First- are you sure that IRAD is not already enabled in your software? If you have confirmed it is not, the way to get keycodes would be to contact a vendor, or the company you purchased the equipment from.

KRS system Nortel restricted to Partners only. Ask your distributor to retrieve key codes. If they say they can't then find another distributor.

Not trying to annoy you and I know you have the installer guide but have you looked in programing to see if the IRAD is already enabled.

You can do a quick test by calling yourself and when you pick up the call hit Feature 9** which should transfer you to the IRAD, you'll hear a load fax type noise. Feature 9*0 is for an external RAD


If test works all you have to do is program your password and assign a line if you want.

Go under system prgramming and look for passwords. You'll see IRAD Password. When you hit view you should see it and now you can change the password.

MICS FastRAD transfer - Feature 9*0
FastRAD programming - Feature 9**

IRAD may be called (transfered into)without IRAD fully active - only gives you access to load Keys for activation remotly and password must be loaded for this to work.
