actionscript help on stopping load movie swf files

please can you help. what i want to do is, load a swf movie which i can do. unload a swf movie i can do this also. but i want to control it. i have got various video type controllers but they need editing. i do not know how to pause, rewind, stop and play the loadmovie swf file. anyone got the correct actionscript please. losing my mind!

Do you load into levels or a target?
Your loaded swf takes on the name of the targetMc or the level. Then on your main where you control the movies i suppose place on your buttons _root.nameoftarget or level
goto framelabel or number or whatever inside your loaded swf
