I have 250 .jpg images. I want to create a
action that will open images that are in a
directory but I also want to be able to hit the
play button and the action save all images that
are in the workspace as .bmp's.
If you think you can help please respond...thanks

well, this feature is called "automate batch" and you find it in File>automate>batch.

Before you start with this, just create a simple action for save as... your desired format.

Than you can choose to open files from whatever folder or just use open files and so on.... you will see what to do in batch dialog box...
